Cederberg Wilderness Area Hikes

A mere 2 and a half hours drive from Cape Town, lies the Cederberg Wilderness Area. It is known for its unique rock formations and views. Truly a hikers paradise!
There are various hiking routes to choose from, of which, our favourite route is the Wolfberg Cracks and Wolfberg Arch. An adventurous route which involves navigating through narrow, vertical fissures in the rock face, followed by a relatively easy walk to the arch. Nothing extreme though!
Hike Distance: 16 km
Hike Duration: 7 to 8 hours
If this seems a bit too challenging, one could skip the arch and only do the cracks. This should take between 3 and 4 hours.
