This Table mountain walk takes you out in nature and affords much better views than if one just stayed in the vicinity of the upper cableway station. You get a real sense of the mountain while heading away from the crowds on this guided walk.
We take the cable car up and down. It is a circular route which traverses the top of Table Mountain. It starts off with amazing views down the length of the Cape Peninsula and across the twelve apostles. After visiting Maclear’s Beacon, the highest point on Table Mountain, the route takes you along the front edge of the mountain which has panoramic views of the city bowl, Lion’s head and Table Bay. Level terrain most of the way, so you get unbelievable views without the hard work. This route is suitable for all fitness levels and ages.
